Wandering troubadours through this earth
We find no eternal home here
Shrines to humanity what are they worth
To a man with nothing but fear
We find moments of life to be sweet
But they are just sweetly fleeting
A Brief taste of a savory treat
Though our hunger it be feeding
Even the good tarnished by the bad
Perfection a task too tall
The happiest of men bound to be sad
When the greatest among us fall
Father calls us home to our land of joy
Our new hearts aflame with wonder
We shall live as little girls and boys
Eternal mysteries we will ponder
